Alastair Collingwood

Alastair has written scores for numerous shows, including Dogwood’s last three productions, His work for theatre includes Betty (Ambassadors),and Cora which played the Lyric, and toured the USA.

 

TV credits include music for French and Saunders, the sitcoms, Mad About Alice and Rhona and many others. He performs live with comedienne Jackie Clune and in the comedy shows The Day The Music Died (BBC Radio 2) and Happy Families (BBC Radio 4).

 

His awards include a Fringe First as a performer and for Best Music at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Antony Bellekom

Director & Lyricist

A former Director of BBC Radio 4‘s The Archers, his No Way Back production won the Silver Medal at the New York Radio Festival. Amongst his radio drama productions is Michael Eaton’s acclaimed A Chorus From The Gallows.

 

He directed No Finer Life and The Shearing Gang for Dogwood Productions. Other theatre work includes Chicane’s Law at The Gate, Troubaritz for Framework Theatre, The Promise, a ballad opera that toured cathedrals, and Radio, Radio that was created for and performed in the hold of a cargo ship.

He has directed a number of major arts engagement projects including Next BRIT Thing for the BRIT Awards and The Big Music Project, a multi-million pound initiative by the National Lottery for young people.

He is a former Managing Editor of BBC Radio2 and BBC 6 Music and a visiting professor at a south of England university.
